Lake Washington Saddle Club
Purpose and Objectives:

  • Preserve, improve and maintain Bridle Trails State Park for horse use

  • Encourage interest in horses and good horsemanship

  • Develop and sponsor equestrian activities for club members

  • Support other equestrian, animal welfare and related community associations

  • Provide meeting place and social contact for members


The Lake Washington Saddle Club is an equestrian club based at Bridle Trails State Park in Bellevue, WA.  The LWSC is committed to preserving, improving, and maintaining Bridle Trails State Park.  We run Hunter and Jumper Fun Shows,  Dressage Schooling Shows, rated Hunter Shows, Playdays, Trail Training and other equestrian activities which provide funds for improvements and maintenance of the park.

During scheduled events, the showground arenas are reserved.  Parking may also be limited.  Please check the park calendar for event dates. The powerline arena is always open.

Discover Pass Required to Park at Bridle Trails State Park

The Discover Pass now can be used on either of two vehicles!
Annual pass: $30   One-day pass: $10 (available on site)  The fine for not displaying the pass is $99.

A Discover Pass is required for motor-vehicle access to state parks and recreation lands managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.  The Discover Pass is now the primary source of funding to replace the $77 million cut from the State Parks budget. Please support WA. State Parks by purchasing an annual pass.

The Discover Pass may be purchased:
•Online at http://discoverpass.wa.gov/    •At Bridle Trails Park State Park (when staff is available) and  headquarters and region offices and at all state parks  •In person from any of nearly 600 recreational license vendors where state fishing and hunting licenses are sold, such as Fred Meyer and REI.
•By phone (866) 320-9933 •When you renew your vehicle license
