Lake Washington Saddle Club Volunteer Opportunities

The Lake Washington Saddle Club is run by volunteers and we need everyone to pitch in to keep things running smoothly. Everyone, especially our show managers, can always use an extra hand.

Note: To be eligible for LWSC annual awards, members must volunteer for at least 8 hrs in club activities.

Playday Volunteers - Volunteers are needed for set-up, registration, announcing, score keeping, food and trail. Contact playday@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Hunter Show Jobs - The Hunter Fun Shows and the Hunter/Jumper C-Show need volunteers for office, jump crew, cook shack, announcer, and ribbons (a great job for young kids). Contact hunterfs@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Dressage Show Scribing - Scribing is a great experience for anyone interested in dressage and a must-do for anyone who competes. You'll get a whole different viewpoint of how a test is judged! Requires decent handwriting, rapid thinking, and knowledge of dressage terms. Contact dressage@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Other Dressage Jobs -Dressage schooling shows also need gatekeepers, office assistants, and ring crew (set up and tear down). Contact Jennifer at duncan66@msn.com

Jumper Show Jobs - Jumper shows need volunteers for office, timers, in-gate, jump crew, cook shack, announcer, and ribbons (a great job for young kids). Don't worry if you don't have any experience, we'll show you how to do it. Contact  jumperfs@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Party in the Park:  Volunteers for all aspects of this event are needed. Go to the Bridle Trails Park Foundation website for information

Hours put into some of these volunteer jobs can be applied towards volunteer hours needed for year-end awards.
